Hong Kong-listed digital asset firm OSL Group has launched a new global exchange platform, starting with services that enable direct fiat-to-stablecoin conversions.

The offering allows users to convert U.S. dollars to USDC at a 1:1 ratio, aiming to address inefficiencies such as slippage and settlement delays. Additional features include crypto purchases via credit card and Apple Pay, bank transfers, and multi-blockchain asset management. Limited-time bitcoin rewards are being offered for trades in major tokens.

Founded in 2018 and backed by BC Technology Group, OSL was the first publicly listed crypto exchange in Hong Kong and the first licensed under the city's Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). The firm also holds regulatory licenses in Singapore and the UK, providing what it describes as a strong compliance base for international expansion.

Chagri Poyraz, chief strategy officer of OSL Global Exchange, said the new service is designed to remove friction for users. "By addressing key user pain points, our global exchange has enhanced efficiency and security in digital asset trading," he noted, adding that the company will continue to leverage its regulatory position to expand globally.

The launch positions OSL to compete in the highly contested stablecoin market, dominated by U.S. players such as Coinbase and Circle. Stablecoins remain the largest segment of global crypto trading, with over $120 billion in circulation across USDC and Tether's USDT. OSL said it intends to broaden its services to include derivatives, lending, and other products for both retail and institutional users.
