Ouinex Gets Registered as VASP in Poland

Fazzaco learned that the upcoming crypto exchange Ouinex has completed registration as Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) in Poland.

Incorporated in France in 2022, Ouinex is looking to grow its presence in the European market. The Polish license is the first regulatory authorization the company has ever secured, and it comes days ahead of Ouinex's initial coin offering.

The crypto firm closed its seed funding in Q2 2023, raising around $2 million. According to the roadmap on its website, Ouinex plans to roll out beta version of its exchange in Q1 2024, and launch the exchange in Q2 2024. It looks to introduce crypto derivatives products outside EU, and crypto cross-margin feature in Q3 2024. Moreover, the firm eyes launch of staking services by the end of the year.

Ouinex also wants to enter the African market.
