OvalX Spreadbetting Sales Head Mark Foulds Moves to Alvar Financial Services

Fazzaco learned that Mark Foulds has joined Alvar Financial Services Limited (Alvar), a provider of bespoke prime brokerage solutions, cash equity trading and retail spread betting/CFDs, as Co-Head of High Net Worth Trading.

Mark joins Alvar from OvalX, a spread-betting and CFD provider based in London, where he has spent for over 21 years. During this period, he served as Head of Spreadbetting Sales.

"It has been a pleasure working with some fantastic people at OvalX during that time. I have also really enjoyed working with an extensive client base and I have very much appreciated the business you have given us over the years and look forward to continuing that relationship at Alvar," Mark posted on LinkedIn.

In February, Fazzaco reported that OvalX was officially shutting down​. The broker has been experiencing declining performance. It was rebranded from ETX Capital in May 2022.

Prior to OvalX, he was a dealer at City Index, a global leader in FX & CFD trading, as well as spread betting.
