Paysafe’s Q3 2021 Financial Results See Slight Drop

Paysafe Limited (Paysafe), a leading specialized payments platform, announced on Thursday its financial results for the the third quarter of 2021, unveiling a slight drop.

Following are the financial highlights compared to Q3 2020:

  • Total revenue decreased from $355.5 million to $353.6 million, down 1%;

  • Total Payment Volume rose 19% to $31.1 billion;

  • Net loss attributable to the company came in at $147.2 million, compared to that of the same period last year at $38.1 million;

  • ​Adjusted EBITDA fell 1% to $106.4 million.

“In the third quarter we reported Adjusted EBITDA in line with our expectations, despite softer than expected revenue, reflecting both market and performance challenges within the digital wallet business. While the recent trend will drive an adjusted financial outlook, we continue to see strong momentum across the business,” Philip McHugh, CEO of Paysafe, stated.
