Paystand, a blockchain-enabled B2B payments service provider, has appointed Allison Grieb as Chief Sales Officer (CSO).
With years of experience leading sales at high-growth tech firms, Grieb joins Paystand from Recurly, a subscription management software company where she served as the SVP of Global Sales for a year. Prior to that, she spent eight years at Anaplan, a business planning software company based in San Francisco, holding various roles including Senior Account Executive, Regional Vice President, and most recently Vice President of Global Alliances. Grieb played a significant role in Anaplan's IPO during her time with the company.
Jeremy Almond, CEO and Co-Founder at Paystand, commented on the appointment: “Paystand is forging a new path in B2B payments and is growing fast. It's essential to have a CSO like Allison who is extraordinarily well-equipped to rapidly expand our strong network. To say we are excited is an understatement. Allison's arrival marks the next level in our business and our ambitions to grow into a world-class organization with proven world-class leaders.”
Allison Grieb, CSO at Paystand, said: “I'm thrilled to be joining Paystand, where we are on a mission to revolutionize B2B payments. We're dedicated to pioneering innovative solutions that empower CFOs and finance leaders to streamline their financial operations in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. I look forward to leading the sales team into this exciting new chapter of growth. Together, we'll drive meaningful profitable changes to our clients.”
In addition to Grieb's appointment, Paystand recently acquired the New York-based spend management software provider, Teampay, to expand its business offerings. The paytech firm has also strengthened its leadership team with key hires such as Chief Operating Officer Mark Hassin, Chief of Staff and Impact Alexandra Navarro, GM of New Business Initiatives Meridith Perry, VP of Partner Ecosystems Max Robbins, and VP of Marketing Brandon Rodriguez.
