PayU Promotes Rodrigo Couto to Country Manager Argentina & Chile

​PayU, a leading online payment service provider, has recently promoted Rodrigo Couto to its Country Manager Argentina & Chile, effective from November 2020.

Couto joined the company in June this year as Global Business Development, developing and implementing growth opportunities within and between organizations. He brought over two decades of experience from the financial industry to the company.

Before joining PayU, Couto has spent more than eight years as member of Vistage Argentina and over ten year at The Warranty Group, where he joined in 2007 as Planning Manager and later became its Country Manager.

Additionally, he was Vice President and Head of Global Business Development at SafetyPay, managing the company's Sales / Business Development team in Europe and Latin America. He started his career in 1997 at Aon Warranty Services, Inc., as seen on his Linkedin profile.
