Pepperstone Appoints Dianah Njeri Igati as Regional Head of Compliance

Pepperstone, a regulated online Forex and CFD trading platform, has hired Dianah Njeri Igati as its Regional Head of Compliance (ASIC, DFSA, SCB, FSC) based in Melbourne, Australia.

In her new role, Dianah will be responsible for managing the Regulatory Compliance and AML/CFT Risk Compliance division of Pepperstone. She will oversee the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC), Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA UAE), Securities Commission of The Bahamas (SCB), and Financial Services Commission (Mauritius), which provide oversight on the company's OTC Derivatives offerings in the regions of Australia, Asia-Pacific, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Middle East, LATAM, UAE, and Bahamas.

With extensive experience in compliance and legal matters, Dianah joined Pepperstone from Scope Markets, a leading forex and CFDs trading provider, where she served for over four years as General Counsel, Chief Compliance & MLRO for Scope Markets Kenya. Before that, Dianah was the Head of Compliance and Money Laundering Reporting Officer at EGM Securities, Kenya's first Non-Dealing Online Forex Broker licensed and regulated by the Capital Markets Authority of Kenya (CMA). She had previously worked as a Legal Assistant at CMA and dealt with legal matters related to licensing and approvals.

In addition, Dianah has been serving as a Committee Member on the Professional Development Committee at The Institute of Certified Secretaries since September 2021.

Dianah earned her Bachelor's Degree in Law from Kenyatta University and obtained her Master of Science (MSc) in Finance and Financial Law from SOAS University of London.
