Pepperstone Gains Cyprus CySEC License

​Pepperstone, an award-winning online FX and CFD broker regulated in multiple jurisdictions around the world, announced that it has gained a CIF license from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC).

It is the sixth regulatory license obtained by the brokerage, Pepperstone is already licensed under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), the Capital Markets Authority of Kenya (CMA), and the Securities Commission of The Bahamas (SCB).

The CySEC license was awarded to the Pepperstone's subsidiary Pepperstone EU Limited, which was established in Cyprus in mid 2019.

According to the statement, the company has named Victor Zachariades as Head of Cyprus at Pepperstone. Mr. Zachariades joined the company in 2019 and spearheaded the Cyprus license application process and office establishment. He served on key senior-level positions at some of the prominent brokers across different regions.
