Pepperstone, Revolut, OSL and Other Four Companies Are Hiring Now

This week marked the start of another wave of significant job cuts in the financial sector.
CMC Markets, a leading global online trader, made headlines on Monday with its latest cost reduction and efficiency measures, causing widespread concern within the industry. The Group will be reducing its global headcount by approximately 200 positions, representing around 17% of the existing headcount, in order to drive efficiencies and make structural savings across its global operations.
Meanwhile, the scale of layoffs in the banking industry is even more substantial. Deutsche Bank recently announced its decision to cut 3,500 jobs as part of its overall strategy to optimize efficiency and save costs. Societe Generale, France's third-biggest listed bank, also revealed its plan to cut about 900 jobs in its home country this year. The job cuts will mostly target IT and other support functions at the lender's headquarters in the La Defense business district in the French capital.
In the payments industry, the French payments giant Worldline has begun talks with unions about job cuts, intending to axe about 1,400 positions, which accounts for 8% of its workforce.
However, amidst this wave of layoffs, some companies are expanding their operations and creating new job opportunities. JPMorgan Chase, for instance, has announced plans to open 500 new branches over the next three years and hire 3,500 employees by 2027. Similarly, the state-owned Italian bank, Monte dei Paschi di Siena (MPS), intends to recruit 300 new employees by the end of this year.
