Person of the Year: Alexander Geralis, Head of Business Development at Spotware

Alexander Geralis entered the finance world in 2017, when he was working as a journalist at Cointelegraph, a well-known blockchain and cryptocurrency website. Later, he went to MEES (Middle East Economic Survey) and worked as business sales manager and North Africa analyst respectively.

Alexander entered Spotware as the chief product officer first in 2018. Spotware is an industry-renowned trading platform developer, offering tech solutions on forex, commodities, and cryptocurrencies, one of the its most famous product is cTrader. He officially became the Head of Business Development at Spotware since January 2020. Fazzaco was honored to have an exclusive interview with him in September 2021​.

"We don't see competition as a negative factor, but rather a positive one," said Alexander when asked about the competition in fintech business.
