Peter Mintzberg Appointed New CEO of Grayscale Investments

Peter Mintzberg has been officially named the Chief Executive Officer of Grayscale Investments, according to a LinkedIn update. Mintzberg's appointment marks a significant leadership change at the company, where he will oversee its strategic direction and growth in the rapidly evolving crypto asset management sector.

Mintzberg brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles at prominent financial institutions. Most recently, he served as the Global Head of Strategy for Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management from 2023 until August 2024, where he managed strategic initiatives and the Wealth Management business. Prior to this, he was the Global Head of Strategy for Goldman Sachs Asset Management, focusing on corporate strategy and digital assets.

His career also includes a stint as Managing Director at Apollo Global Management and various leadership positions at OppenheimerFunds, including Chief Strategy Officer and Global Head of Corporate Strategy, Investor Relations, and Treasury.

In his new role at Grayscale, Mintzberg expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity, stating, "I am incredibly proud and honored to share that I have officially joined Grayscale Investments as the company's new Chief Executive Officer.
