Taskize, a post-trade solutions provider and a subsidiary of Euroclear, has announced that its CEO, Philip Slavin, will step down. To ensure a smooth transition in the company's leadership, James Pike, currently the Head of Business Development, will serve as the interim CEO.
Slavin co-founded Taskize in February 2012 alongside John O'Hara. He previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer for nearly a decade before assuming the role of CEO in November 2021. Under Slavin's leadership, the number of clients on the Taskize network has nearly doubled, with a total of 600 clients across 88 countries.
Slavin's LinkedIn profile showcases his extensive experience in business development and technology within the financial services and fintech industry. He has held key roles at prominent companies such as Pivotal Software, Fidessa, Bankers Trust, Citi, ING Barings, and HSBC.
Antonio Queiroz, Chief Digital Officer, Euroclear and Chairman of Taskize, stated: "I would like to sincerely thank Philip for both his energy and leadership not only as Taskize CEO but as co-founder of this innovative solution. He has worked tirelessly to cement Taskize's position as Euroclear's preferred client service channel. His passion, enthusiasm and client-focus has been a driving force in making the Taskize vision of becoming a single platform to fully optimise workflow solutions across the industry a reality."
According to the announcement, Taskize has initiated a search process to find a permanent successor for the CEO position.
