Plus500 Appoints Amy Meyer-O'Brien as US Chief Legal Officer

Amy Meyer-O'Brien has been appointed Chief Legal Officer for the US at Plus500, drawing on a lengthy legal career in derivatives and brokerage. She joins from R.J. O'Brien, where she spent 14 years, most recently as Senior Director, Deputy General Counsel, Corporate from July 2021. Her earlier roles at the firm included Associate General Counsel and Senior Corporate Attorney. Meyer-O'Brien began her financial markets legal career as a Contract Attorney at Citadel Investment Group in 2010.

In a separate executive appointment, Plus500 named Nick Scarf as Chief Executive Officer of its Australian entity this month. Scarf joins from Marex, where he was Chief Operating Officer for Australia and New Zealand, bringing extensive senior leadership experience from trading and brokerage firms.
