Plus500 Reports FY 2025 Revenue and EBITDA Above Market Expectations

Online forex and CFD broker Plus500 Ltd has reported financial results for the year ended 31 December 2025 that exceeded market expectations, according to a trading update released by the company.
The group recorded revenue of approximately $792 million and EBITDA of around $348 million, both ahead of consensus forecasts. On a constant currency basis, EBITDA for FY 2025 was about 8% higher than in FY 2024.
Plus500 maintained a strong balance sheet throughout the year, remaining debt-free and ending 2025 with cash balances of roughly $0.8 billion. During the year, the company returned approximately $380 million to shareholders through dividends and share buybacks.
In terms of customer metrics, the group continued to prioritise higher-value clients. Plus500 onboarded around 104,500 new customers in FY 2025, compared with 118,010 the previous year. Average user acquisition cost (AUAC) showed a year-on-year improvement, declining by more than 10%. However, the number of active customers decreased to approximately 242,000, down from 254,138 in FY 2024.
The year also saw several strategic developments. Plus500 was appointed clearing partner for the CME Group's prediction market and event-based contracts platform, launched in partnership with FanDuel and going live last month. In October, the company entered a partnership with Topstep, a US-based trading education and evaluation platform, under which Plus500 provides clearing and technology infrastructure, supporting its expansion in the US futures market.
From a regulatory perspective, Plus500 secured new licences in the UAE and Canada and received approval from Colombia's Financial Superintendence to establish a representative office, marking its first move into Latin America. The company now holds 16 regulatory licences globally.
During FY 2025, Plus500 announced total shareholder returns of $365 million, including $200 million allocated to share buyback programmes.
Looking ahead, the board said it remains confident in the company's outlook for 2026 and beyond, expecting continued financial and strategic progress alongside further shareholder returns.
