Plus500 Reports Strong H1 2025 Financial Performance and Strategic Expansion

Plus500, a global multi-asset group, has released its trading update for the six months ended June 30, 2025, showing operational and financial progress.
The company reported a 4% increase in revenue to $415.1 million for H1 2025, up from $398.2 million in H1 2024. EBITDA also grew by 1% to $185.1 million, resulting in an EBITDA margin of 45%.
David Zruia, Chief Executive Officer of Plus500, highlighted key achievements, stating, "Plus500 delivered further operational and financial progress in H1 2025. We expanded our global presence with new regulatory licences in Canada and the UAE, added to our growing list of clearing memberships with ICE Clear US and announced the exciting acquisition of Mehta Equities in India, which will provide us access to the largest retail futures market in the world." He added that this progress is "underpinned by our proprietary technology which drives our global business model and supports our relentless focus on innovation and growth."
During the first half of 2025, Plus500 onboarded 56,165 new customers, with active customers totaling 179,931. Customer deposits reached a record high for a six-month period at $3.1 billion, reflecting the company's focus on higher-value customers. The company's futures business contributed approximately 13% of total revenue.
Plus500 also announced shareholder returns of approximately $200 million through dividends and share buybacks in H1 2025, supported by cash balances exceeding $925 million as of June 30, 2025. The Board of Directors remains confident in the outlook for 2025 and beyond, citing the company's technological capabilities, balance sheet strength, and emerging opportunities, particularly in the B2B futures sector.
