Polis Partners with MCN Ventures to Develop a Cross-Chain DeFi Ecosystem

Polis, a community-based DeFi platform, announced it has partnered with MCN Ventures, a prominent decentralized VC. The partnership, which is Polis' new breakthrough in DeFi, will focus on developing a cross-chain DeFi ecosystem on Polis Chain, the company's native blockchain.
MCN Ventures will launch four new initiatives on Polis Chain as part of the collaboration in the next weeks, which include decentralized stablecoins Xdollar and MinMax, farming ecosystem MCN Multiple, and Acheron, a third-party bridge for Polis Chain.
Commenting on the partnership between Polis and MCN Ventures, Business DAO Manager Andreas Meyer said: "For our project, it is the first time that we will work together with a venture fund. The special thing is that MCN is completely decentralized and has a huge network in the DeFi space. This brings us many new opportunities to grow our Polis Chain for 2022. We are looking forward to this collaboration and the future new projects on our chain."
For Polis, it has already realized some developments in the DeFi space before this collaboration. In November 2021, Polis launched Hades Swap, its first decentralized exchange (DEX) in a key pivot into the DeFi space, making great achivements in its trading volumn. Then, the company successfully launched the Olympus Network, a blockchain within the Polis ecosystem capable of running smart contracts, which will allow developers in the ecosystem to easily create decentralized applications (dApps), a feature that is critical for its operation in the DeFi space. In addition, Polis partnered with Meter.io to bridge the Olympus Network to Binance Smart Chain to facilitate transfers of stablecoin DAI. All of these developments above show that Polis' shift to DeFi is not only well-funded, but also well-resourced, making the company in a strong position to become a leader in the DeFi field.
