PrimeXM Reports 10.67% YoY Jump in July’s Trading Volume

PrimeXM, an award-winning technology provider to the global financial industry, has released its trading volumes for the month of July across the 3 major Data Center locations, revealing a slip in many trading metrics compared to the prior month.
More specifically, the company registered a total trading volume of $1.04 trillion, 10.67% higher than the previous year’s $939.35 billion. The Average Daily Volume (ADV) for the month reached $47.26 billion, compared to the previous month's $47.31 billion. Moreover, the number of trades decreased to 30.64 million from last month’s 34.56 million trades.
PrimeXM maintains three major data centers: LD4, NY4 and TY3. The one in London recorded $796.11 billion in notional trading volume in June. The Data Center in TY3 has returned to the 2nd largest data center location in terms of trading volume processed with $125 billion. That number for NY4 was $118.50 billion.
XAUUSD has remained PrimeXM's most popular instrument in July with a total trading volume of $271.50 billion. Major FX pairs EURUSD and GBPUSD took the 2nd and 3rd places with trading volumes of $139 billion and $123.6 billion respectively.
As Fazzaco reported earlier, PrimeXM has added a new trading data center in Singapore to further expand its technology services in Asia. And Singapore are now PrimeXM's fourth major global foreign exchange trading location together with London, New York, and Tokyo.
