PrimeXM Reports 8.14% YoY Increase in August Average Daily Volume

PrimeXM, a provider of FX trading industry technology, has released its Trading Volumes & Execution Statistics for August 2022.​

August 2022 Highlights

• PrimeXM XCore Community registered total of $1,152.05 billion in August, which is a 6,02% increase compared to total volume registered in July. The Average Daily Volume (ADV) in August were at $50.09 billion, which is a –3.2% decline on MoM basis and +8.14% YoY increase compared the same period last year.

• Total executed transactions via XCore technology in August were 41.37 million, 11.27% more comapred to July figures. The busiest data centre is London(LD4), where $899 bln were transacted, Tokyo(TY3) comes second with $150 billion, followed by New York(NY4) with $101 billion and Singapore (SG1) data centre with $2.05 billion.

• Traders and investors across the community traded the most Gold, where 1/3 of all volume was executed followed by EURUSD,  GBPUSD and the 3 major equity indices #US30, #US100 and #Germany40. 

• ​Volumes in Crypto instruments (Spot, Futures and Crypto CFDs) during August was $760 mi. This is a decline compared to $882 million in August and  $1,090 million in June.
