Prop Firm SurgeTrader's License Terminated by Match-Trade Technologies

Fazzaco learned that leading technology provider Match-Trade Technologies has terminated the Match-Trader license of Florida-based prop trading firm SurgeTrader. Previously, due to MetaQuotes' crackdown, a host of prop firms seeing the rival platform Match-Trader as safe haven, and switching their services to it.

Because of the termination, SurgeTrader has suspended the sale of new auditions until such time as the dispute with Match-Trader is resolved or until it is able to secure an alternative trading platform to migrate existing accounts to. The firm states that it is in full compliance.

"There is no legal basis for Match-Trader's unilateral decision to terminate our license," SurgeTrader said in a prompt on its website. "We are not in violation or breach of any contractual obligations or restrictions."

SurgeTrader claims that it has fully cooperated with their legal team, directors, and owners and went to great lengths to remedy any concerns therein with its legal teams and address all unwarranted and unfounded accusations against the company and its founder.

"We selected Match-Trader for our recent migration as a respected trading platform in the industry and fully expected them to be honorable to SurgeTrader, putting the best interest of our traders in the forefront. We apologize for the significant and unnecessary disruption brought on by them to the world-wide trading community," said SurgeTrader.
