Prop Firm TopTier Trader Replaces MT4/5 with TradeLocker

US-based prop trading firm TopTier Trader is integrating TradeLocker, the next-gen day trading platform developed by MochaLabs, as an alternative to MT4 and MT5. The migration will be completed by Tuesday (February 27).

TopTier Trader's migration choice is different from most other prop firms, which choose to add trading platforms like DXtrade, cTrader and Match-Trader. Shortly before, Fazzaco reported that MyFlashFunding​ is shifting its prop trading operation to Match-Trader, to continue serving its US clients.

"We evaluated DXTrade, CTrader, and others, and it was clear to us that TradeLocker was the best alternative to MT4/5," explained Dave Guttman, CEO of TopTier Trader.

"Rather than rush to onboard another broker with the hope that we might maintain MT4/5 for a bit longer, only creating more uncertainty, disruption, and instability for our Traders, we have made the decision to no longer offer MT4 and MT5 from this point forward," said the CEO.

Earlier this month, the company has closed its operations in ten countries, including the UK, India, Turkey, Germany, Romania, Egypt, Pakistan, Vietnam, Kenya, Czech Republic.
