Public Launches Kalshi-Powered Prediction Markets with AI Agents

Public has launched prediction markets in partnership with CFTC-regulated exchange Kalshi, allowing members to trade event contracts directly or use AI agents to trigger trades based on changing probabilities.
The brokerage said the markets cover categories including crypto, commodities, climate, economics, corporate events, financial markets, indices, technology and science, as well as politics and elections.
Users can trade prediction markets directly or configure Public's AI agents to use changes in event probabilities as signals for other investment decisions. For example, an agent could be instructed to buy a stock if the probability of a regulatory approval passes a specified threshold. Other strategies could monitor expectations for interest rate cuts and send alerts or respond to changing earnings probabilities by trading options.
"Prediction markets give those agents a new input: real-world events," said Public Co-CEO and Co-Founder Leif Abraham. "Members can take a position on the event directly, or use the market's data as the signal that triggers a trade anywhere else in their portfolio."
The launch expands Public's agentic trading offering, which allows investors to create automated instructions covering assets available through the brokerage. Prediction markets are now available to Public members.
