Quilter Cheviot Secures Simon Funge as New Head Of Office in Manchester

Quilter Cheviot, one of the UK's largest discretionary investment management firms, yesterday announced that it has appointed Simon Funge as its new Head of Office in Manchester. The appointment comes at a strategic point driving the company's growth in the region.

Simon joins Quilter Cheviot from Worldwide Financial Planning, where he served as Head of Financial Planning. He will replace David Rothburn who has worked at Manchester office for 17 years. 

In his new role, Simon will be responsible for leading a team of six investment managers who work closely with an extensive network of financial adviser firms across the region.

Commenting on the new appointment, Quilter Cheviot’s Chief Executive, Andrew McGlone said: “Our Manchester office has experienced great success since its opening, with our local client base growing significantly over the last 27 years. The financial adviser community in the North West has been integral to this success and, as we look to build further upon on our presence in the region, Simon’s experience means that he is ideally placed to strengthen our relationships within this community.”
