Rakuten Securities to End 'Basic Advice' Trial Service

Rakuten Securities Inc., a Japanese brokerage offering forex, CFD, and stock trading, has announced it will discontinue its trial "Basic Advice" service later this month. The chat-based feature, which is part of the company's "Rakuten Securities with Advisor Service," will cease operations at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025.

The company thanked customers who used the service and shared feedback during the trial, noting that the input will be used to improve its broader advisory offerings. While "Basic Advice" will be phased out, Rakuten Securities confirmed that online consultations with advisors will remain available to clients.
