Rakuten Securities to Expand Info on US ETFs

Fazzaco learned that Rakuten Securities, a Japanese FX, CFD and stock broker, will begin providing its clients with additional information about US ETFs, effective August 15, 2021.

The enhancements will allow users to notice expanded investment information on the individual stock page of each US ETF after logging in. After the release, traders will be able to see the fund overview, expense ratio, top stocks, distribution information, etc. on each US ETF stock page.

For instance, traders will be able to check information such as the latest distribution, distribution yield, and distribution history (for the past 5 years).

This expansion of ETF information also covers iSPEED, making it even more convenient to collect information from one's smartphone.

In July, Fazzaco reported that Rakuten Securities added stocks of 200 companies listed on US exchanges to its offering. Additionally, the broker has reported its financial results for H1 of 2021​. The company generated an operating income of more than JPY8.447 billion during the first half of 2021, which is 17.2% higher than the same period in 2020. For H1 of 2021, the broker posted net income of JPY5.248 billion, , which is 9% higher compared to the same period in 2020.
