AMLYZE, a RegTech company specializing in anti-financial crime solutions, has announced a new partnership with Notabene, a platform focused on preventing high-risk crypto activities. This partnership follows the European Banking Authority's (EBA) recent guidelines on the 'travel rule,' which aim to combat money laundering and terrorist financing in cryptocurrency transactions.

The EBA's guidelines, issued in early July, specify the information required for fund transfers and crypto asset transactions. The guidelines provide a framework for payment service providers (PSPs), intermediary PSPs (IPSPs), crypto-asset service providers (CASPs), and intermediary CASPs (ICASPs) to address incomplete or missing information, promoting a consistent approach to implementing the travel rule across the EU.

Under the new partnership, Notabene's SafeTransact platform will be integrated with AMLYZE's solutions. SafeTransact offers a comprehensive view of crypto transactions, supports real-time decision-making, counterparty sanctions screening, and compliance with global Travel Rule regulations. This integration aims to enhance AMLYZE's existing suite of solutions, which includes transaction monitoring, customer risk assessments, and investigations into anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CFT) activities.

The partnership is expected to help financial institutions and Crypto Asset Service Providers (CASPs) navigate regulatory challenges and strengthen their compliance frameworks. Both companies view this collaboration as a step forward in addressing the complexities of financial crime prevention in the evolving landscape of crypto and fiat transactions.
