Revolut, the global financial super app, has expanded its investment offering across the European Economic Area (EEA) with the addition of stocks of 70+ European-listed companies, allowing users to start investing with as little as €1. As with its US-listed stocks and ETFs, European stock trading will be commission-free within allowed limits.

According to Revolut, through access to a wide selection of options including over 70 European-listed stocks, 2200+ US-traded companies, and 150+ ETFs, users can monitor their investment performance in real-time within the Revolut app with features such as live watchlists, trading charts, and market news.

Revolut users now have the option to set up recurring purchases, which enables them to buy stocks and ETFs at predetermined intervals such as daily, weekly, or monthly. Recurring buys help investors mitigate the effects of short-term price fluctuations and allow them to make consistent investment commitments.

Rolandas Juteika, Head of Wealth and Trading for EEA at Revolut, said: "We continue to make investment space more accessible for everyone by starting to add some of the largest European-listed companies to our trading platform. We want to bring our customers easy access to companies that are closer to them. From Adidas to Zalando, our customers can now invest in well-known European names and we will soon expand this list further."

"A comprehensive range of other investment products is coming soon – including robo-advisor services, mutual funds, bonds, and a more sophisticated trading platform for experienced traders," Rolandas added.

Investment services in the EEA are provided by Revolut Securities Europe UAB, an investment firm authorised and regulated by the Bank of Lithuania.

Revolut has been continuously expanding business globally. In the second half of the year, the British fintech start-up has landed in New Zealand, and launched its new Joint Accounts product in the UK. Furthermore, earlier this month, Revolut has reached an agreement with investor SoftBank, moving it a step closer to a UK banking license.
