Revolut Partners with Ant International to Enable Money Transfers to China via Alipay

Fintech company Revolut has announced a partnership with Ant International, which will allow Revolut customers globally to send money to China through Alipay. This collaboration enables users to send Chinese Yuan directly to a recipient's Alipay ID.
The new service features a tiered fee structure for Revolut customers. Standard customers will incur a 0.15% fee, with a minimum charge of S5.90.Premiumcustomerswillpaya0.124.72. Metal customers will not be charged any fees for these transfers. To initiate a transfer, Revolut users can select the "Send International" option in the app, choose mainland China as the destination, input the amount, select Alipay, and then provide the recipient's Alipay account ID and other necessary details.
This partnership is expected to cater to the demand for cross-border payments into China, which remains one of the world's top remittance destinations. The integration leverages Alipay's extensive payment network within China.
