Revolut Taps Glauber Mota as CEO, Brazil

Fazzaco learned that Revolut, the global financial superapp with over 18 million customers worldwide, has appointed financial veteran Glauber Mota as Chief Executive Officer of its Brazilian branch, with remits of leading its international expansion in the region, the information on Glauber’s LinkedIn shows.

Glauber joined Revolut from BTG Pactual, one of the largest investment banks in Latin America, where he was Partner for 8 years. During this period, he has held several senior executive roles in the wholesale bank and its private bank business in Switzerland and latest as COO to its digital retail unit in Brazil.
Prior to BTG Pactual, Glauber served as Senior Vice President from 2015 to 2019. Before that, he was Director at SunGard Financial Systems, based in Brazil. He has been with Itaú Unibanco for more than 6 years, initially as Senior Quantitative Analyst, then promoted to Vice President.
Shortly before, Fazzaco reported that Revolut was expanding its US leadership with the appointment of Yuval Rechter as General Manager and Danil Ovechkin as Head of Growth.
