Revolut to Launch Revolut Bank in 10 New European Markets

Revolut, a British financial technology company that offers banking services, yesterday announced that it has expanded its digital banking services into ten more European markets, namely Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Malta, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.

According to the company, customers in these countries will have their deposits protected under the deposit guarantee scheme. At the same time, they will also get exclusive access to a whole bunch of new products in the future.

Before this new expansion, Revolut received a Lithuanian specialized banking license last September. That is to say, it was able to offer limited banking services to European clients. What's more, the company launched its specialised bank in Lithuania and Poland last year. 

The new launch enables customers in these countries to upgrade to Revolut Bank within the mobile app, and the upgrade process will only take customers a few minutes.

Commenting on this extension, the company stated that they're excited to take the next step in their journey by launching Revolut Bank in 10 new European markets.
