Revolut Waived Remittance Fees to Malaysia

Revolut, a UK financial technology firm offering banking services, announced that it is waiving transfer fees from AUD to MYR until 10 August 2021.

MYR transfers to a bank account in Malaysia with Revolut take up to only 1 business day to reach the recipient's account, while international transfers usually take up to 5 business days.

Customers can also get the interbank exchange rate for their transaction if it’s made within their exchange limit and during exchange market hours. Mark-ups apply outside of these hours and on certain currencies.

Revolut has recently raised $800 million​ in a fresh funding round led by SoftBank’s Vision Fund and Tiger Global Management, which has taken its valuation to reach $33 billion. The fintech will use the funds in marketing, product development and international expansion.
