Robinhood Appoints Meta's Chief Revenue Officer to Board of Directors

Robinhood Markets has announced the addition of John Hegeman to its Board of Directors. Hegeman currently holds the position of Chief Revenue Officer at Meta, where he oversees the company's global monetization strategy.
Vlad Tenev, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Robinhood, commented on the appointment, stating, "John has strong experience driving innovation and growth across platforms and brings valuable perspectives as we expand our platform for millions of users."
Hegeman brings nearly two decades of experience in digital advertising, product development, and business strategy to Robinhood's board. He has been with Meta since 2007 and has played a significant role in the development of its advertising business.

Hegeman's appointment expands Robinhood's Board of Directors, which includes prominent figures such as co-founder Baiju Bhatt and lead independent director Jon Rubinstein. He also currently serves on the boards of Jio Platforms Limited and the Center for Election Science.
