Robinhood Markets Posts 89% Jump in 2021 Total Net Revenues

Robinhood Markets has filed its annual report for 2021 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), showing that its total net revenues have experienced a substantial growth.
Highlights:
Total net revenues of $1.82 billion compared to $959 million, for year-over-year growth of 89%;
Net loss of $3.69 billion, which included aggregate costs of $3.62 billion associated with share-based compensation and the change in fair value of convertible notes and warrants, compared to net income of $7 million;
-Share-based compensation expense totaled $1.57 billion compared to $24 million. For the year ended December 31, 2020, share-based compensation expense all related to stock options.
-The net loss for the year ended December 31, 2021 also included total expense of $2.05 billion associated with the change in fair value of convertible notes and warrant liability issued in February 2021.
Adjusted EBITDA (non-GAAP) was $34 million compared to $155 million;
Net Cumulative Funded Accounts of 22.7 million compared to 12.5 million, for year-over-year growth of 81%;
Monthly Active Users (MAU) of 17.3 million in December 2021 compared to 11.7 million in December 2020, for year-over-year growth of 48%;
Assets Under Custody (AUC) of $98 billion compared to $63 billion, for year-over-year growth of 56%; and
Average Revenues Per User (ARPU) of $103 compared to $109, for a year-over-year decrease of 5%.
