Robinhood's CEO Disposes of Its 83,333 Shares

Fazzaco learned that Online broker Robinhood Markets (HOOD) has reported the recent transactions in its shares conducted by senior executives.
According to its report, Robinhood's CEO Vladimir Tenev transferred 83,333 shares in the broker on January 4, 2023, with a weighted-average share price of $8.2371 in the transactions.
Vlad Tenev directly owned over 1,244,603 Robinhood shares after the disposal.
As a Co-Founder of Robinhood, Vlad Tenev is also Chair of its board of directors and has served as Chief Executive Officer and President of the broker since November 2020.
Robinhood was co-founded in 2013 by Tenev and Bhatt who share the role as Robinhood's co-CEO and co-President.
Prior to Robinhood, Tenev established two finance companies in New York City.
The founder holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Stanford University and an M.S. in Mathematics from UCLA.
Robinhood Markets has recently been envolved in a battle over ownership of about $450 million worth of its stock among FTX, BlockFi and Yonathan Ben Shimon (an FTX creditor).
The broker has witnessed recovery in November trading volumes, with 60% MoM Jump in Crypto Trading, as Fazzaco has reported previously.
