Russian C-bank Cancels Licenses of Nordea Bank

Fazzaco learned that the Central Bank of Russia has cancelled the licenses for depository and dealer of JSC Nordea Bank.

Earlier in April 2021, the regulator issued an order cancelling the banking licence of Nordea Bank.

The licence of Nordea Bank was cancelled following the request that the credit institution submitted to the Bank of Russia after the decision of the general shareholders' meeting on its voluntary liquidation.

Earlier in July 2021, Fazzaco reported that the Central Bank of Russia has cancelled the licenses for depository, broker, dealer and securities management of investment company QBF​. The licenses will officially expire on January 20, 2022. In the meantime, the company will have to stop carrying out operations in the securities market.
