Ryan Vaile Becomes EVP of Strategy and Corporate Development of AEGIS Hedging

AEGIS Hedging Solutions, a leader in technology and expertise for commodity and environmental markets, has hired Ryan Vaile, who boasts over twenty-five years of experience in risk management, finance, and energy, as its Executive Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development. Besides, Ryan sits on the executive team within the company.

In his new role, he works with AEGIS Hedging customers, prospects and its executive team to assess new market entry, corporate partnerships, and potential acquisitions.

Prior to joining AEGIS Hedging, Ryan has spent ten years as a Partner with Phoenician Resources, where he successfully helped build the firm into a well-known and respected aggregator of assets. 

Between May 2008 and June 2015, he worked at Marathon Financial Group, Inc. as Managing Principal. Besides, Ryan has served Icon Identity Solutions as VP Sales for over one year and Aon Risk Services as VP for almost seven years.

This appointment follows AEGIS Hedging’s hire of Dave McLellan​ to assume its newly created role of Director of Canada.
