Sage Capital Introduces Private Banking Service for Institutional Crypto Clients
Sage Capital has launched a private banking service aimed at institutional participants in the digital asset market, marking an expansion beyond its existing crypto prime brokerage operations. Alongside the banking service, the company has introduced a proprietary unified trading platform designed to support liquidity access, execution, risk management, and Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA).
According to the company, the new offering allows hedge funds, asset managers, trading firms, brokers, corporate treasuries, and digital asset treasuries to access banking, market access, capital, and technology through a single regulated counterparty.
Sage Capital stated that the platform is intended to streamline institutional workflows by providing unified onboarding and integrating multiple financial functions into one environment. Nathan Sage, CEO of Sage Capital Management, said the approach is designed to reduce operational risk and counterparty exposure while improving capital efficiency. He added that the banking service is "fully integrated into our digital asset infrastructure" and represents a significant step in how institutional clients manage and deploy capital in digital asset markets.
The launch follows a series of partnerships aimed at expanding the firm's institutional offering. Months earlier, Sage Capital expanded its collaboration with Finery Markets to provide up to 10x leverage through a trilateral arrangement with Gold-i, enabling trading across more than 200 digital assets. In addition, the company partnered with EDXM last year to provide institutional access to perpetual futures liquidity.
With the introduction of private banking, Sage Capital now describes its integrated financial network as being built on four pillars: banking, market access, a capital engine, and the Sage platform. The company says this structure is intended to support end-to-end institutional participation in digital asset markets through a single, unified infrastructure.
