Sami Hamed Joins Admirals as CEO Jordan

Fazzaco learned that the global retail FX and CFDs broker Admirals has appointed Sami Hamed as  the new Chief Executive Officer of its branch in Jordan, Admiral Markets Jordan, effective from March 2022.

As seen on his LinkedIn profile, Hamed brings over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry to the company. Hamed joins Admirals from Noor Al Mal in Jordan, the Jordan arm of Turkey-based online broker NoorCM Menkul Değerler A.Ş., where he worked for nearly three years as the company's Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to that, he served as the General Manager for over five years at Golden Royal Index in the United Arab Emirates. Before that, he worked as a General Manager at Winsor FX. Hamed started his career in 1994, serving as Customer Service Officer and Teller Officer at The Housing Bank for Trade & Finance.

Hamed holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics as a Major, Financial Banking as a Minor, and a Master's degree in Economics from Yarmouk University in Jordan.

Earlier this month, Admirals Group AS has released its full year 2021 results indicating a significant decline in revenues and profits. The company's net trading income was 20.5 EUR million and net profit was 0.9 EUR million.
