Santander UK Onboards Nicky Morgan as Independent Non-Executive Director

Fazzaco learned that Santander UK, a financial services provider in the UK that offers a wide range of personal and commercial financial products and services, has onboarded Nicky Morgan as independent non-executive director, effective 10 August 2021.

In addition, Nicky became Chair of the Board Responsible Banking Committee and a member of the Board Audit Committee and Board Risk Committee.

Nicky brings a wealth of experience of a number of sectors including financial services, education, media and technology. Prior to joining Santander UK, Nicky previously served as MP, Cabinet Minister and Chair of the House of Commons Treasury Committee. Over the course of her career, Nicky spent 16 years with City law firms, mainly focused on mergers and acquisitions and advisory work.

Currently, Nicky is a Non-Executive Director of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, The Careers & Enterprise Company and Great Central Railway plc. In addition, she also serves as a Trustee of the Social Market Foundation.
