Santander UK Secures Paul Horlock as Chief Payments Officer

Santander UK plc, a financial services provider offering a wide range of personal and commercial financial products and services, yesterday announced the appointment of Paul Horlock as its new Chief Payments Officer. This addition to the bank is subject to regulatory approval.

According to the official press release posted by the bank, Paul will take up the post in the new year and will be responsible for creating a single UK Payments team operating across the business and working alongside the European region as part of One Santander.

Paul will bring more than 15 years’ experience in the payments sector to Santander UK. He is currently chief executive of Pay.UK, which he joined at its inception in October 2017, and has previously held senior positions at Nationwide and Barclays.
