Saxo Bank Co-Founder Makes Investment in Crypto Trading Algo Firm Skynet Trading

Saxo Bank co-founder, Lars Seier Christensen, has made an undisclosed investment in Skynet Trading, a leading firm in digital assets trading and algorithmic software development, through his investment business Seier Capital. Additionally, Edessa Capital, a leading investor in digital assets, has also invested in the trading and technology company.
The co-founder of Skynet Trading stated that the deal is a significant step in solidifying the company's position in the industry while supporting its ongoing provision of liquidity solutions to the market.
Christensen added: "The addition of Seier Capital and Edessa Capital as private shareholders marks a significant milestone for the company, providing strategic input crucial for our next stage of growth."
Lars Seier Christensen, a Danish businessman, entrepreneur and investor, co-founded Saxo Bank in 1992 with Kim Fournais and Marc Hauschildt. In 2016, he left the bank and has since been investing through his wholly-owned private family office, Seier Capital.
In 2018, Christensen sold his remaining stake in Saxo Bank to the Chinese automotive conglomerate Geely Holdings and the Finnish finance company Sampo.
With combined assets of approximately $400 million, Christensen and Seier Capital have invested in a diverse range of companies, notably including the foundational blockchain protocol Concordium. Currently, Christensen serves as the Chairman of the Board at Concordium.
