Saxo Bank Experiences Monthly Drop in Client Trading Volumes in June 2023

Saxo Bank, the Copenhagen based online trading and investment specialist, has released its client trading metrics for the month of June 2023, unveiling an overall decline in client activities on the platform.
Client trading volumes at Saxo Bank for June came in at $391.7 billion, a decrease of 4 percent from $407.0 billion in May 2023.
Average monthly trading volume during the first half of 2023 on the platform was $389 billion, falling 4 percent compared to $405 billion in the last same period.
Specifically, FX trading for June fell 8 percent on a monthly basis to $119.5 billion. Commodities trading stood at $32.1 billion, 21 percent lower over the prior month, with fixed income trading down 4 percent month-over-month to $6.6 billion. Equities trading, however, increased 2 percent to $233.5 billion.
Last month, Fazzaco reported that Saxo Bank has been officially designated as a Systemically Important Financial Institution by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA).
