Saxo Bank Hires Emil Valdemar Madsen as Global Head of Marketing & Brand

Fazzaco learned that Saxo Bank, a Copenhagen-based retail FX and CFDs broker, continued making changes to senior leaderships, with the appointment of Emil Valdemar Madsen as its new Global Head of Marketing & Brand.

Madsen joined the broker from Danske Bank, where he was Head of Brand Strategy & Creative Execution, First Vice President, reporting to the Group CMO. He has been with Barclays for more than two years, and finally resigned from the position of Brand Planning Lead, Barclays UK.

Additionally, Madsen has worked as Senior Strategist at global leading creative agencies, including FCB Inferno and Isobar.

This month, Mette Ingeman Pedersen​ has announced her resignation from the role of Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Saxo Bank. And the broker has named Mads Dorf Petersen​ as interim CFO.
