Saxo Bank H1 2026 results record net profit

Saxo Bank H1 2026 results is central to this development. Saxo Bank has reported its strongest first-half performance on record, with revenue reaching DKK 2.803 billion (approximately $436 million) and net profit of DKK 648 million (about $101 million) for the first six months of 2026. The Copenhagen-based retail forex and CFDs broker said both figures were the highest it has achieved for any six-month period.

The results mark a recovery from the second half of 2025, when the bank recorded a decline in revenue and a slight net loss. According to Saxo, the latest performance reflects strong commercial momentum and successful execution of its strategic priorities, supported by robust trading activity amid record-seeking equity markets and heightened volatility in commodities such as oil and precious metals.

The period also saw the Safra Group take control of the bank, with a new CEO installed. Saxo said it remained focused on growing its global partner and client base, strengthening its position, and investing in platforms and products to support long-term profitable growth. The bank plans additional marketing investments, enhancements to its client offering, and continued investment in AI and other business-critical areas.

CEO Daniel Belfer said he was proud to present the best half-year financial results in the bank's history, noting that the global investment culture remains strong and that many new clients have chosen Saxo to start their investment journey. He added that the bank continues to deepen relationships with existing clients and partners, who are entrusting it with a growing share of their investments, and expressed optimism that this positive development will continue.

Saxo noted that its income generation is subject to volatility in currency, equity, and commodity markets, as well as fluctuating interest rates. The bank said geopolitical tensions and macro uncertainty have impacted market dynamics, providing both challenges and opportunities for clients. Its strategic focus remains on growing its client and client asset base and enhancing its product and platform offering.

For the full year 2026, Saxo expects net profit in the range of DKK 1,000-1,100 million, while maintaining an increased cost base with additional marketing investments and further investments in AI and business-critical areas.
