Saxo Markets Adds Charu Chanana to Market Strategists Team in APAC

Fazzaco learned that Saxo Markets, the online trading and investment specialist, has selected Charu Chanana to join its market strategists team of three in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
Charu is based in Singapore, responsible for offering thematic-based investment strategies for the company's global clients, with a focus on macro themes, forex, commodities and equities across Southeast Asia, Japan, India and the US.
Charu joined Saxo Markets from Continuum Economics, where she has spent more than 6 years as Lead Economist, Asia, focusing on India and Indonesia, as well as other ASEAN economies. Prior to that, she was Lead Analyst at CRISIL Global Research & Analytics, the world's largest and top-ranked provider of high-end research and risk solutions. Previously, she has served Evalueserve as Research Lead for 4 years.

Based on the information on Saxo Markets' LinkedIn Profile, Saxo Markets Singapore now has a total headcount of 56, increasing 2% over the last 6 months. Whereas, the figure has dropped 8% compared to that of one year ago. Across all its functional departments, the headcount of sales sector ranks the top, followed by the marketing sector. And the working force of the marketing department has risen 33% over the past 6 months. This signals that the company may be eyeing on market expansion in the coming years.
