Saxo Markets Offers Zero Commissions on US Equities for New Clients in Singapore

Saxo Capital Markets Pte Ltd(Saxo Markets), authorised and regulated by MAS, recently announced that new clients in Singapore can trade US equities with no commission for a limited time.

According to the company, the offer is valid until September 3, 2021, inclusive. It applies for new clients opening Saxo accounts during the promotional period. The commission will be USD 4 for existing clients and for new clients after 3 September 2021.

Notably, eligible clients do not include an individual who maintains an existing trading account with Saxo Markets. For the avoidance of doubt, Eligible Clients also do not include new corporate or institutional clients of Saxo Markets.

The zero commission applies to equities and ETFs traded on US Exchanges For the avoidance of doubt, this promotion does not apply in relation to instruments traded on the OTC Bulletin Board and OTC Markets Group (Pink Sheets).

All other applicable fees such as regulatory and exchange fees will continue to apply to all trades.

This week, Fazzaco reported that Saxo Markets has announced its roll-out of crypto Forex paired with bitcoin, litecoin and more. The company said that due to regulations in certain regions, the service will be available in the regions where it is active, such Australia and Singapore.
