Saxo Bank, a leading online financial services provider specializing in online trading and investment, has appointed Joanna Moberly as the new Head of Legal and Company Secretary for its UK subsidiary, Saxo Markets UK. She will be based in London and report to Charles White-Thomson, CEO of Saxo Markets UK.

Joanna brings to the company over ten years of experience in the field of financial law. Prior to joining Saxo Bank, she had worked for nearly 10 years as a lawyer at Lloyds Banking Group, a major UK financial institution, following her stints at Barclays Wealth and a large multinational law firm Dentons.

Charles said: "Joanna's experience will be a major asset to Saxo as we look to grow our business in the U.K. Alongside the recent hires of industry veterans Nicholas Wilcock and Michael Ridley and our new COO, Peter Morris, Joanna is a welcome addition to the team."

Saxo Bank has announced multiple changes in its management team over the past year. Its Hong Kong subsidiary Saxo Markets has recently released three appointments, including Charu Chanana to its market strategists team in APAC last week, Sean Ma as head of Saxo Institutional early this month, and Redmond Wong as Hong Kong-based market strategist in late March. Saxo Markets Australia, the bank's Australian subsidiary, appointed two new senior executives last October - market strategist Jessica Amir and country head of direct sales David Harvie. Furthermore, Saxo Bank UK has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Anaam Raza as head of UK Marketing & PR and Harry Leyburn as digital engagement manager last August.
