Sberbank Names Konstantin Kruglov as Senior Vice President

The largest bank in Russia Sberbank announced today that it has named Konstantin Kruglov, CEO and Director of the SberDevices Department, as a Senior Vice President. As such, Konstantin Kruglov will remain part of the bank's Technology Unit headed by Executive Vice President David Rafalovsky, CTO of Sberbank Group.

In his new role, Konstantin Kruglov will keep overseeing the development of AI-based solutions in speech technology, natural language processing, face and voice authentication, while also supervising the work on the Salute family of virtual assistants and customer devices under the Sber brand. 

Starting today, Mr. Kruglov will also be engaged in the unification of user interaction with the Sber ecosystem through new digital surfaces. He'll be in charge of the development of the Salute family across new mobile applications, the evolution of the sber.ru website, the SBER Salute application, and the expansion of the line of smart devices for end-users and corporate customers of the ecosystem.

​Kruglov joined the Sberbank team in 2019 as a senior managing director, Director of SberData. Before Sber, he occupied executive positions in companies like Troika Dialog, Deutsche Bank, Tinkoff Digital, and Yandex.
