SBS has announced a new partnership with Vero Technologies aimed at advancing digital transformation in the wholesale finance sector. The collaboration is set to reshape the way lenders and dealers manage floorplan lending by moving away from manual workflows and outdated systems toward fully integrated digital solutions.

The initiative will first be rolled out with Auto Use in the United States and Soda Capital in Australia, two independent finance institutions that will adopt the combined platform. By linking SBS's Financing Platform (SFP-W) with Vero's digital operating system, lenders will have access to an ecosystem that covers every major stage of wholesale finance, from loan origination and funding to collections, title management, inventory auditing, and risk monitoring.

Industry observers note that while floorplan lending plays a crucial role in auto and equipment financing, many institutions—particularly smaller lenders—have struggled to modernize due to resource constraints. The joint solution is designed to address that gap by providing automation and digital oversight across internal operations and customer-facing processes.

Auto Use, which has been serving the U.S. Northeast for over five decades, is adopting the platform as part of its broader modernization push. The company expects to automate processes such as funding and repayments, while also streamlining dealer onboarding. Real-time data access will give Auto Use greater visibility into its overall performance. Over time, deeper integrations are planned with credit bureaus, title-tracking providers, and auditing systems to further strengthen efficiency and operational resilience.

James Powell, Head of Asset and Consumer Finance at SBS, emphasized the impact for mid-sized lenders in particular. "With Vero, our solution is uniquely positioned to support small and mid-sized lenders across every step of the financing journey so they can strengthen their operations and offer better dealer experiences," Powell said. "Transforming lenders' wholesale operations is most effective when modernization happens across both their internal and customer-facing processes, but this can be especially difficult for smaller institutions with limited resources. Our joint solution addresses precisely this challenge."

Vero Technologies' CEO John Mizzi pointed to the global significance of the initiative. "Auto Use and Soda Capital are two leading independent financial institutions on two different sides of the world who understand the value of an all-in-one wholesale finance solution," he said. "By working with SBS, we're providing these lenders with the innovative technology they need to modernize their operations, so they can focus more on what matters—scaling their business and building long-standing customer relationships."
