Scope Markets Secures John Murphy as Chief Revenue Officer After Change of Control

Fazzaco learned that the forex and CFDs trading provider Scope Markets has appointed John Murphy as its Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

John has 14 years of experience working with different forex brokers. Prior to this role, he was the Group Head of Retail Operations at Rostro Financials Group, a prime broker that has taken the ownership of Scope Markets this month​.

The bulk of John's career was spent at OANDA, a global leader in online multi-asset trading services. He served the company in four roles. Initially, he started as Retail Sales and Retention Team Lead, EMEA. Then, he received a promotion to Head of Sales in the EMEA region. Next, he progressed to Global Head of Retail Sales from the beginning of 2020. Finally, he reached the position of Head of UK and Global Head of Retail Sales.

Before joining OANDA, he spent over three year with Alpari, serving as the company's Senior Sales Associate of Forex and Derivatives. His career started in 2007 at FXCM as Sales Executive of Forex and Derivatives.
