Scope Markets Welcomes Siri Porncharoenrit as New Country Manager in Thailand
Siri Porncharoenrit has joined Scope Markets as the Country Manager in Bangkok, Thailand. She recently announced this transition on LinkedIn after spending the last seven months in a similar role at Exinity.
Porncharoenrit has a robust background in the financial sector, previously serving as the Country Manager for Thailand at Hantec Markets for over three years. Her experience also includes positions as a Business Development Executive and an Account Manager.
Scope Markets has been actively expanding its team globally. The firm recently brought on Gaby Kanj to enhance its presence in the Middle East and North Africa. Kanj is expected to strengthen client relationships in that region, addressing the increasing complexity of client requests as awareness of the firm's services grows.
CEO Daniel Lawrance commented on the company's growth strategy, noting their collaboration with a rising number of financial institutions and the evolving needs of these entities. Kanj's background in the industry is anticipated to benefit both Scope Markets and its clients.
In addition to these appointments, Scope Markets has named Fraser Nelson as the Global Head of Business Development. With over a decade of experience in leveraged trading, Nelson will oversee the company's retail growth initiatives worldwide.
Furthermore, the institutional liquidity unit, Scope Prime, appointed Miranti Rostian as the Head of Southeast Asia. The company has also broadened its product offerings, launching two new equity indices aimed at global stock markets in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Lawrance highlighted the importance of in-person relationships in Southeast Asia, emphasizing that the company's recent hires are intended to enhance engagement in the region.
